monsters is a London based collective of 9 freelance illustrators. We each have our own styles and areas of expertise, with many of us also working in the fields of graphic design and animation. We promote our work collectively through promotional material, a group website, exhibitions, and specially designed monsters products. monsters was founded in 1994 by a group of Central Saint Martin's graduates, and has since then expanded, with new members from both CSM and the RCA. Several of our members are now tutors at London's top art and design institutions. We work regularly for some of the most demanding and high profile clients in the industry, and have been recognised and published in trade organisations such as 'Images' in the UK and 'Workbook' in the US.
